Psalm: 85

Meditation

1 Peter 3:13-22: This passage opens with a rhetorical question. “Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good?” That sounds harmless and unlikely or is it? The days are fast approaching when doing good in this upside-down world may get one arrested and thrown in jail. We live in a rather polarized world which will not tolerate the presence of anyone opposing a godless agenda. “It is better, f it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.” (v. 17)

Gospel: Matthew 21:1-13

New Testament: 1 Peter 3:13-22

Old Testament: Zechariah 9:9-16
