Psalm: 105
Meditation
Luke: I think we all have had moments of self-complacency – smugness, if you will. I suspect that a long as I draw breath, I will be guilty of this, if not aloud, then certainly to myself. Humility is a puzzlement to me. Humility strikes me more as a gift than an action. Humble I am not so when I “act” humbly I think I’m “putting on the dog” (or making a display; hypocrisy). Perhaps practiced humility may help me to achieve but achieve modicum of it.
