Meditation

Acts: Paul seizes leadership in the event of the impending shipwreck. He exhorts the sailors, who have not eaten for two weeks, to eat and to maintain their strength. The soldiers aboard were all too eager to kill the prisoners lest they should escape and their own lives be forfeited. Paul established calm. The centurion was determined that Paul should not die. I think he wanted to see what would next befall Paul.
