Psalms: 122, 123

Acts: Here we see a conspiracy to kill Paul. The ringleaders had made a solemn vow and, in essence, registered it with the chief priests and elders. There is something so objectively wrong in assassinating someone, how could anyone expect such a deed to be sanctioned by the Temple (God)? Well, he can’t.  God could never countenance such a thing, but such was the rampant hatred for Paul at that time that all reason was discarded.

Gospel: Luke 7:1-17

New Testament: Acts 23:12-24

Old Testament: Micah 1:1-9
