Luke: This “Sermon on the Plateau” is strikingly similar to the “Sermon on the Mount” (Matt. 5-7), though considerably shorter. Why would Jesus preach the same sermon twice? Simple. We tend not to listen nor to take to heart what He is telling us. Part of it may be familiarity, which in this case may lead to dullness in hearing. Gospel: Luke 6:39-49

New Testament: Acts 22:30 – 23:11

Old Testament: Hosea 14:1-9
