Meditation
Hosea: In an anguished voice the LORD beckons to His people almost pleadingly by reminding them of how much He has brought them through. He also warns them of His jealousy not unlike wild animals and their young. God goes to great lengths with overwhelming patience to try to win His people back to Him. Here also is an echo of that great day (the general resurrection and judgment). “Where, O death, are your plagues? Where, O grave is your destruction?” (13:14)
