Meditation
Job: Psalm 88 is one of the few Psalms with no praise other than thanksgiving – it sounds much like this reading from Job. This is a cry of anguish and injustice. So Job is in perhaps his greatest moment of despair yet he closes this section acknowledging “I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end He will stand upon the earth. And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God; I myself will see Him with my own eyes – I, and not another.” (vv. 25-27) A resurrection experience.
