Psalm: 119:1-24
Meditation
Job: There is something refreshingly honest about Job’s speech here in chapter 7. I have heard the bitterness of some people toward God usually after a major loss of some kind. The loss of a spouse, a child, a job – something quite meaningful. So rather than complain to God these people tend to sulk and pout and rail against Him but not to Him. This is what Job is doing. He has lost in one day more than I have ever had and he is pissed about it. The truth is Job is justified in feeling this way, see chapter 1 verse 8.
