Psalms: 129, 130

Meditation

John: Most of us get hung up in legalism. It happens to me when I see someone doing something I don’t like; something I don’t do. This is simple lack of charity – a holier than thou attitude. These annoyances and my responses to them only serve to take my eyes off the Savior and focus my attention on my “halo polishing”. Focus less on the appearance of things and more on the heart of a situation.

Gospel: John 7:14-36

New Testament: Acts 10:17-33

Old Testament: Job 8:1-10, 20-22
