Psalm: 144

Meditation

Acts: This is another “Us vs. Them” scenario. We read early on in Scripture that God cannot be bought off with a bribe (2 Chronicles 19:7). From early on the Lord wanted all people to believe in Him, circumcised and uncircumcised alike. Rahab, (in the book of Judges) a prostitute in Jericho, was the mother Boaz who married Ruth (of Moab) the great-grandmother of David and was an ancestor of Jesus. God “accepts men from every nation who fear Him and do what is right.” Vv. 34-35.

Gospel: John 7:37-52

New Testament: Acts 10:34-48

Old Testament: Job 9:1-15, 32-35
