Memorize these two verses as a family:

Mark 1:17 “Come follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.”

Matthew 5:19b “… whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”

Talk about what God is trying to tell us through these two verses.

Ask: Jesus asks us to do two things: follow him and help other people follow him. 

• What does it mean for us to follow Jesus?
• Who are some people we know that we can invite to follow Jesus with us?

Activity: Make a list of people that our family knows that we can invite to follow Jesus with us.  Make a plan to:

• Pray for these people regularly.
• Look for opportunities to invite them to follow Jesus with us.
