Psalms: 13, 20

Joshua: Unfortunately much of what Moses wrote about the LORD and His wonders before, during, and after the great exodus from Egypt may not have been recited to the people until much later. Those entering the Promised Land at that time had not been witnessed by them. Joshua and Caleb were the two notable exceptions. So when the people of Israel get to the River Jordan they witness the first miracle. There is nothing quite like seeing things for myself so when Joshua parted the Jordan, he confirmed his status as Moses’ successor.

Gospel: Matthew 25:31-46

New Testament: Romans 11:25-36

Old Testament: Joshua 3:1-13
