Mark: Have you or some you know ever gone to a doctor complaining about one thing only to be surprised by something else? “Congratulations! You’re pregnant, or worse, that tumor, it turns out is cancerous.” The paralytic said not a word; may not even had known what his friends were up to. But his friends had heard of Jesus and believed He could heal their friend. Jesus did, though not as expected. Jesus was proving to those around Him He was sent by God and so forgave the man’s sins! The man got more than he bargained for.
