Psalm: 72

Acts: In ancient times magic was a big thing. Genuine miracles (i.e. exorcisms) may have led people to believe such were magical. Here we have two such scenarios. 1) The handkerchiefs which seemed to have healed magically. This could be traced to a woman who was among a crowd pressing in on Jesus Who then burrowed through just to touch His garments to be healed. (Matt. 9L18-29; Mark 5:21-43; Luke 8;46-56) And so she was. 2) The sons of Sceva treated a holy power as if it were their own and paid handsomely

Gospel: Mark 1:14-20

New Testament: Acts 19:11-20

Old Testament: Numbers 27:12-23
