Galatians: Galatians might be regarded as a condensed version of Romans. Paul wastes no time in addressing the issues in Galatia. It is speculated that the “illness” spoken of in verse 14 is malaria. People then suffering from malaria would seek cooler climes for relief of fever. “Those people” of verse 17 are Judiazers who may have been very sincere in their efforts but believed that converts had to be circumcised in order to become Christian. If not, such people would be excluded just as they were from Judaism.
