Psalm: 73
Meditation
Matthew: I remember once telling a friend of mine “Thank God for your poverty.” The opening of this passage provides adequate reason for my own bit of wisdom. We worry if there will be enough for the rent and for food. But what we seldom think is that this is an opportunity to trust (or have faith in) God more. Remember that the manna spoiled if kept for a second day (except the Sabbath). God wants us to depend on Him for all our needs – “Give us this day our daily bread” earlier in this chapter.
